This spectral, swirling mist was captured by author William R. Forstchen at Gettysburg's Sachs Bridge in the summer of 2005. Forstchen says the bridge, at the edge of the battlefield, is notorious for ghostly activity; the water beneath once ran red with blood.

A Truly Paranormal "Orb"

The night of Monday, August 25, 2003, L.E.M.U.R. investigated the haunted Zealandia Castle in Asheville, North Carolina. Zelandia, built in 1889, sits near the infamous Helen's Bridge, and was included in the book, Haunted Asheville.

In the castle's basement, L.E.M.U.R. VP and Imaging Expert Brian Irish captured this fantastic orb that zoomed up to his camera and zipped away. Note how the camera's autofocus struggles to adjust.

A Possessed Possession

This is an amazing piece of footage. It was shot by L.E.M.U.R's Imaging Expert, Brian Irish. In 2001, during an investigation at 1889 WhiteGate Inn in Asheville, North Carolina, the team monitored a haunted upstairs bedroom. Irish used his infrared night vision video camera to capture a supercharged orb of light emerge from a drawer then meander off to the right. That bedroom was the site of numerous deaths, considering the mansion was a convalescent home for decades.
