Here is a clip from the first good footage strange lights at Brown Mountain, shot in 2000, by L.E.M.U.R.'s Brian Irish. Are these just ATV lights?:
The Animated GIF below is from footage shot that same month by Brian Irish. Warren led this expedition also, and they investigated the mountain on foot to determine these balls of light, that oozed and moved in a strange fashion like amoebas, were on sheer rock faces. It was so dark, cloudy and rainy that the mountain itself could barely be seen. However, the lights were bright enough to cut right through the gloom.
Here is the latest footage, shot on Wednesday, June 17, 2009, around 11:30pm by Dean Warsing, using Generation III Night Vision Goggles. Toward the end of the video, you'll see Dean shoot a laser pointer at the site.
