explanation for the form, but the site was known to be haunted.
This spectral, swirling mist was captured by author William R. Forstchen at Gettysburg’s Sachs Bridge in the summer of 2005. Forstchen says the bridge, at the edge of the battlefield, is notorious for ghostly activity; the water beneath once ran red with blood.
