McGhee craves the excitement of mysteries; without them, he feels the world would be boring. But, perhaps most importantly, he believes pure truth can only be obtained by personal experience. Most people are content with taking other peoples explanations as truth, he adds, but I want to find out for myself. He possesses a sound understanding of most all sciences, and using his general comprehension of mainstream studies, he carefully and objectively weighs evidence. While belief is dependent upon evidence, he feels disbelief should be dependent upon evidence, as well. In that aspect, he is an open-minded person who is willing to address any and all arguments for, or against, the existence of unexplained phenomena. He feels we have a natural right to know as much as possible about how our world functions. In that respect, McGhee is a living embodiment of the genuine scientists philosophy. :Favorite Quote: "Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, no matter if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your common sense."
